Here’s another story to go along with Bob Higgs’s “Flying Hell” article today. At the Istanbul Airport last week, before checking in everyone was approached by a goofy looking young man wearing a surgical mask. In broken English clouded even further by the mask, he asked questions like: “Did you pack any weapons?” “Are there any firearms in your luggage?” “Did anyone give you anything to put in your luggage?”
Since terrorists are known to be as honest as the day is long I’m sure they’ve nabbed dozens of ‘em this way.
