Tom Woods on Audiobook

Maybe I missed the memo, but I had never heard of any LRC books available as Audiobooks. But checking for Tom Woods’ How the Catholic Church Built Western Civilization I noticed that Borders listed an audiobook version by Blackstone, (I did not find this on Amazon). Searching in Blackstone’s site I note that The Politically Incorrect Guide to American History is also available, sort of. They only list Library Editions (translation: $$) or “MP3-CD” which I don’t have the technology to handle. Are there more books by LRC authors available as audiobooks? Please let me know and I’ll add pointers to this post.

Two oddities about the Western Civ audio book. First, Borders had it filed not under “Non-Fiction” or “History” but under “Personal Development”!?! Also, having just finished listening through Tom’s 10 lectures from his Mises seminar I expected that he would be reading his own book or, if not him, someone with a superior speaking voice. But nope, the guy they’ve got reading this is rather inferior to Tom’s own voice (the same guy reads the Am. History one as well). Maybe his voice will grow on me. But don’t get me wrong, I’m extremely grateful to be able to do some LRC reading while I drive.
