Marine command is cracking down on war photographs coming out of Afghanistan. For years now, ever since journalists were “embedded” into combat units, America’s wars and warmaking have been sanitized. It’s all part and parcel of a growing American totalitarianism. No people can control their government if that government keeps them in the dark.
