This has got to be the worst case I have ever come across:

Today, prior to the sermon, the choir sang a state worship song that included each branch of the military to be recognized and stand up. Meanwhile, one member of each branch walked on stage, in uniform, and saluted the crowd while many congregants hooted and hollered. Following the song, the pledge of allegiance was recited and the pastor said that we should pray for the blessings and safety of all our servicemen fighting for our freedom around the world.
