The Utterly Predictable New York Times

In true Pavlovian style, the New York Times in the wake of the Virginia Tech massacre has called for…more gun control.

The Newspaper of Walter Duranty, Jayson Blair, Judith Miller, and Duff Wilson (of Duke lacrosse shame) tells us:

Our hearts and the hearts of all Americans go out to the victims and their families. Sympathy was not enough at the time of Columbine, and eight years later it is not enough. What is needed, urgently, is stronger controls over the lethal weapons that cause such wasteful carnage and such unbearable loss.

No doubt, others will follow suit. And I am sure that the Times will tell us that we are perfectly protected by the police. Right. Tell that to the families of 32 people who were unable to defend themselves yesterday.
