The Senate Committee on the Judiciary Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy and Consumer Rights is investigating Google after complains by its competitors that it is monopolistic and violating antitrust laws. How utterly ridiculous. Google provides a free service that no one is forced to use. What is the U.S. Senate doing? Why is the Senate wasting 5 seconds on this investigation? What kind of idiots do we have in the Senate that this investigation would even be considered? And things like this happen all the time in Congress. Remember when Roger Clemens had to testify before Congress about his steroid use? The U.S. Congress contains the biggest bunch of buffoons, idiots, and morons in the world.
Update: Former Senator Rick Santorum wants Google to clean up search results for his name.
