It is a hilarious assertion of the late 20th century – early 21st century newscreeps that they are Independent truthseekers, which is their disguise for being shills for the state. That was the rich Walter Cronkite, and it is his rich comrade, Keith. Fox and MSNBC are ironically helping to refute that myth by returning to early 19th century journalism, when newspapers were open party organs, and readers could make their own judgements, as Rothbard noted. Come on, CNN, you three shrinking networks, NY Times, WaPo, all the rest of the regime megaphones: admit your biases for the state, Obama or Bush version. Keith, you pretended to be antiwar and pro-civil liberties, when you are just another partisan hack for the bloody camps and bombs if they are Democratic.
