With the overload of adverse consequences to statist programs continuing to pile up, the politicians fall back on their oft-recited mantra: “we will find out what went wrong and fix it, so that it doesn’t happen again!”  I wonder if these nitwits will continue reciting this catechism following the final collapse of Western Civilization?  Or will that inquiry be left to future historians?
