The “Seven Signs” of Snitching

After reading Karen DeCoster’s wonderful piece today, I Googled “seven signs of terrorism” and came up with a bunch of other copycat links. From Karen’s home state of Michigan to Nevada to Virginia to Kansas City, it seems that this Homeland Security video could be renamed, “Everyone is a suspect, so you must snitch on everyone.”

Bob Higgs once wrote that governments create and then manipulate conditions that bring fear, and then claim that we must bow down to the state because only the state can help us. This is just another example.
