The Question the 9/11 Commission Dare Not Ask

The media have been saturated the last two weeks with reports of those 9/11 commissioners asking various bureaucrats and politicians, “could it have been avoided if you” [fill-in-the-blank]? Despite the pretense that these commissioners are leaving no stone unturned, there is a rock of Gibralter sitting in the hearing room right in front of them. It’s the most obvious question of all, and one that they will likely never ask: Would 9/11 have happend if the FAA allowed pilots to arm themselves?

Chuck Schumer and Sarah Brady would both faint on the spot.
