The Phony Debt Deal

The debt deal that the MSM describes as a victory for the tea party movement is a fraud. It increases the size of the federal government by $2.4 trillion while allegedly containing immediate spending cuts of maybe $90 billion. We don’t even know yet if those are real cuts or imaginary cuts of the “baseline” budget. In all the coverage of the deal over the last 24 hours, ask yourself this: Is a single tiny federal program, agency, or department being abolished? Keep in mind the axiom that there is no such thing as a future spending cut. Even if there were such a thing, a simple majority vote could override the cut. The bottom line is that the federal government will borrow trillions from our children and grandchildren to pay for the fraudulent campaign promises of FDR, LBJ, Bush, and Obama.
