Peggy Noonan, Bush apologist numero uno, offers a unique explanation for Bush’s poor performance on Sunday’s Meet the Press. According to Peggy, Bush is not good at interviews which require detailed knowledge of policy because Bush is not a “talking points” guy. Instead, Bush is interested in large philosophical questions. Therefore, it is the media’s fault when Bush looks bad, reporters should not bother our wise philosopher king with trivial details, like the location of those WMDs.
