The New Federal Voyeurism Administration

While cracking down on internet porn in public libraries and outlawing video voyeurism, the federal government is establishing a whole new army of its own video voyeurs. According to a June 25 Washington Post article, “airport screeners may get x-ray vision.” Susan Hallowell, the director of the Transportation Security Administration’s “security laboratory,” recently strutted her stuff in front of her fellow bureaucrats, walking into the x-ray machine and appearing on a monitor “naked, except for a gun and a bomb that she hid under her outfit.” “Air travellers are not going to like being technologically undressed by security screeners,” she predicted.
