On November 22, 1963, a coup d’etat by the highest echelons of the National Security State was accomplished with the savage murder of John F. Kennedy.  For the past two days with my high school students, I have been deconstructing the lies and myths surrounding that pivotal event of forty-seven years ago which forever changed American history and that of the world.   Andrew Gavin Marshall has written an excellent and concise summary article, “The National Security State and the Assassination of JFK,” which compliments the definitive, path-breaking research of James W. Douglass in JFK and the Unspeakable:  Why He Died and Why It Matters.
