Do you get the message now? The police chief of Concord, New Hampshire, has reportedly requested some $250,000 in order to purchase a tank to help protect the city from the “terrorist” threat posed by libertarians! Why just a tank? Will this boob next be asking to purchase ICBM missiles? Drone bombers? Mustard gas? The cause of liberty would be greatly advanced if this man were given a half-hour segment on Faux News or, better yet, his own late-night talk show! Even the Republicans might come to see to what absurd ends their basic assumptions lead. (Or am I being too optimistic?)
With each passing day, the established order reveals its real sense of terror: the realization that its vertically-structured system grounded in violence is in its death throes; that its real “enemies” were long ago identified by Pogo Possum as men and women who just want to be left alone.
