The Left, the War, and Decentralism

Doug Fuda of the Antiwar League, a cross-ideological coalition of war opponents, has written an interesting and important piece in which he argues that Washington, D.C., is so firmly in control of the War Party that we need to think about decentralist alternatives to current antiwar strategy. That is, we need to employ the once-despised mechanism of states’ rights as a form of defense against the war machine to the extent possible. Needless to say, we need to hear much more of this kind of talk.
