The Greening of the Right

Andrew Sullivan celebrates the embrace of the green agenda by neocons who think if America did not rely so much on Saudi oil we would be more aggressive in waging “war for democracy” in the Mid-East; evangelicals who have embraced environmentalism as part of their heretical agenda to bring about heaven on earth; and protectionists who just don’t want to buy oil from foreigners. Is their any remnant of libertarianism left in today’s conservative movement?
