I figured out France and the black (free) market today. There was a huge rain storm, with waits for a taxi an hour plus. I watched a girl using a radio so I went over to her and said, 20 Euros for a taxi in 60 seconds. In less than 20 seconds. a taxi pulls up and takes us ahead of the entire line to where we needed to go. The free market is alive and well and off the books in socialist France.
