‘The Five’ (Biggest Jerks on Televison?)

This afternoon on the Faux News Channel show called “The Five” (what imaginative marketing) the discussion centered on how the Republican Party can con or dupe Ron Paul supporters to eventually support their favorite candidate, the man from the Ted Kennedy wing of the party, Mitt Romney. The Republican party bigshots should be nice to Ron Paul they said, even if they despise him, so that his millions of supporters will vote for the phony quasi-socialist from Massachusetts. This of course is how the Republican Party has always treated the anti-abortion crowd and other groups of supporters — with the exception of fatcat corporate donors. They smile at them in public and laugh at their gullibility in private.

Then Kimberly Guilfoyle, one of “The Five,” insulted millions of Ron Paul’s supporters by saying that since so many of them are between the ages of 18–25, “they don’t understand why it’s important” to vote for someone other than Ron Paul. This of course is the primary age group that has been used as cannon fodder in Iraq and Afghanistan by the neocons who (for now) run the Republican Party along with their propaganda mouthpieces at Faux News and elsewhere.
