The lockstep media has, understandably, been reporting the deaths, dismemberments, psychoses, and suicides among American soldiers. Sadly, this reporting of “lives ruined” usually goes no further than an appeal for more funding for veterans treatment. These are horrible atrocities created by the state itself. Just once, I would like to see a member of the establishment media do the honest thing: persuade parents to do whatever they can to keep their children away from the war machine! For the same reason loving parents keep their kids away from street gangs and harmful drugs, they ought to impress upon them that there is nothing glorious, heroic, patriotic, or meaningful in getting one’s body ripped apart in service to the corporate-state’s ambitions.
