The Treasury Dept. has announced that the country is on target for another $1 trillion budget deficit. But I thought the Republicans controlled the House of Representatives? Sounds like they are big spenders just like the Democrats. Let us never forget that it was Bush who gave us the first trillion-dollar budget deficit. Of course, he also doubled the national debt, instituted a police state, destroyed the Bill of Rights, and started two wars. As horrific as Obama is, I am not nostalgic for his predecessor. Almost every bad policy of Obama began under Bush. There is not a dime’s worth of difference between the two parties.
