Just in time for Nullify Now Philadelphia this Saturday, which I’m packing for right now, the ACLU has posted another item cheering state resistance to unconstitutional federal laws. This one salutes the states that passed laws prohibiting compliance with the Real ID Act. Not long ago the ACLU also encouraged state and local resistance to the indefinite detention provisions of the NDAA. And in mid-2011 the organization likewise noted that the states should take the lead in ending the war on drugs.
