Submit, or Else!

John Tyner recounts his experience refusing the scanner and pat-down at San Diego Int’l early this morning. Of course, this whole thing is theater and about submitting to the state. So it’s no surprise that, after being escorted from the security area, he is tracked down by the goons and told to return to the security area to be screened because he might have an incendiary device.

Really?!? If this guy was planning on blowing some people up, why wouldn’t he have done it when he was in the crowded security area surrounded by TSA agents, suits, and cops, as well as numerous traveling Americans? If he did have a bomb, why take him back to such a location where he could do so much damage? Answer: no one thought he had a bomb, but his refusal to submit meant that they needed to make an example of him.

Way to go, John!
