Obama and Biden have released their tax returns for 2011. Obama made $790,000 and paid about 20.5% in taxes. Biden earned $379,035 and paid about 23% in taxes.
Obama was generous and gave $172,130 to charity (about 22%). Biden was stingy and gave $5,540 to charity (about 1.5%). I have donated more than $5,540 in a year when I made less than $40,000. If Biden is so concerned about helping the poor, then he should give more of his own money instead of wanting the taxpayers to give theirs.
