Not content with turning our own country into a police state, the U.S. government is spreading the love south of the border. Calderon, the latest criminal to ascend to the Mexican presidency, has put the Mexican drug war on steroids, thanks to billions from US taxpayers, with predictable results. Without drug prohibition, none of this would even be happening. But then again, the Drug War has been such a smashing success, that surely it’s all been worth it. Keep in mind that under Vicente Fox, Mexico considered moderate legalization, and was met with a wave of condemnation from the US. I guess Calderon was more easily bought off than Fox.
