Silly Sneezing Sebelius

Writes Dr. Tom Baugh:

Is the Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius plainly wrong?  She is advocating that you sneeze into your elbow rather than cover your nose with your hand.    I think that she is misguided.  If you sneeze into the crease into your arm and you are wearing sleeves, you get to wear the ejecta all day until you can change clothes.  If you sneeze into preferably your left hand, you can pass through doors to go wash your hands at the next opportunity, without wearing the ejecta all day, spreading the debris every where that you go. If you are not wearing sleeves, you wear the ejecta on your arm until you can wash your arms up past your elbows.  Most lavatories in public have a poor arrangement for that much bathing of your arms. So isn’t hand washing after you sneeze into your hand much smarter? Seems like common sense to me.
