Silly Alberta Government Believes in NAFTA Superhighway

From the LA Times: “There is no such superhighway like the one he’s talking about,” said Ian Grossman, a spokesman with the Federal Highway Administration. “It doesn’t exist, in plans or anywhere else.”

Mr.Grossman better get on the phone with the Alberta Government and remind them that the “Canamex Trade Corridor,” “The North-South Trade Corridor,” and what they are calling a “NAFTA Superhighway” do not exist. Alberta claims they are trying to, “To ensure Alberta’s competitiveness in the international marketplace and enhance tourism, continued investment in this high-efficiency, multi-lane corridor to access U.S. and emerging Mexican markets is essential.” Those crazy conspiratorial Albertans.
