The UK, a sort of experimental lab for the US police state, is in the process of controlling and punishing free speech, including on the internet. The new anti-news edict could cover small bloggers, even foreign ones, if their material is aimed at once-free people in the UK. What’s specifically included in the regulations? “‘News-related material’ including current affairs news and information, opinion and ‘gossip about celebrities, other public figures and other persons in the news.'” Indeed, anything that might bother the regime.
