Should the Taxpayer Bail Out the Government School Unions?

The readership of the most left-wing paper in the country is outraged at the multi-billion dollar bailout for the government school nonworker unions. The comments are the news here.

Update:

Stephen writes: “I work at a private school and naturally, when we faced a budget issue, the school froze and cut our pay by %5.  Everyone was happy about the school staying afloat because, had it closed, we all faced a pay cut of 100%.  The best part is that our teachers salaries are somewhere around half of what local public school teachers make, and our test scores are consistently higher.

Gotta love them Government Schools.”
