Should Economists Take Political Positions?

Of course, as the Coordination Problemists actually mean it, one should take no position that opposes Power. That is why the Ron Paul, anti-Fed movement outrages them. For most economists, association with the Fed is the ultimate glory. See the post of the stimulating J. Grayson Lilburne on what Mises, thought about such a notion.
