Shoot a Family Pet at a Dog Park . . .

. . . and the cops make nothing of it, even keeping your identity a secret.  If you’re a fellow cop, that is.

Imagine the outrage if anyone but a cop pulled out a gun and shot a family pet in public.  Your picture would be plastered all over the universe.  The MSM’s heads would collectively explode as they chortled for more gun control.  It would be bigger than the coverage of Lady Diana’s marriage to Prince Charles.

Only after the victimized family went public on local radio did the local cops promise to “look into the matter.”  This usually means doing nothing for a few days, and then announcing that the cop/shooter has been exonerated.
