. . . unless Deen paid her “a huge sum of money.”  So said the former employee at Paula Deen’s restaurant, a white woman who sued Paula Deen for racial discrimination in the workplace, claiming that her black niece was harmed by it while working at the restaurant.  The judge dismissed the claim today, revealing the whole charade as essentially an attempt at extortion.
