Late-breaking news is that a Duke lacrosse player who was not among those accused in the non-rape case has sued Duke University because his “politics and literature” professor flunked him after learning that he was on the lacrosse team. This was before anyone had even been charged with any crime. He flunked the course merely because he was on the lacrosse team.
Under threat of lawsuits Duke changed the final grade to a “D,” which is still arbitrary, so the lad(who graduated in May) is suing. I hope he cleans up.
