Scientists vs Religion

An article in Nature actually presents this “fight” in a reasonable way. The problem with the “most Americans don’t believe in evolution” poll is addressed: people’s views on this are so nuanced that it is unlikely that the wording of the question “Do you believe humans evolved from earlier life forms?” can adequately expose their positions on evolution.

I don’t read a lot on this subject since I think this is a divisive non-issue that detracts from the important stuff like war and freedom, but I think it’s a first that the weakness of these polls was presented to an audience of scientists.
