Schiff Ahead of Dodd

A new Rasmussen US senate poll in Connecticut shows Crook Dodd (D-Jail) to be waay behind:

The news for Chris Dodd just keeps getting worse. A new Rasmussen poll has him losing to every remaining Republican in the race.

He even comes up short vesus Peter Schiff, who hasn’t have a very visible presence in the state lately.

The Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Connecticut residents, released Tuesday, shows that former Republican Congressman Rob Simmons remains the frontrunner, garnering 48 percent to Dodd’s 35 percent.

Former World Wrestling Entertainment CEO Linda McMahon, who began flooding the airwaves with ads more than a year before the Nov., 2010 election, leads Dodd, 44 percent to 38 percent.

Dodd and Schiff are essentially tied, with Schiff capturing 40 percent to Dodd’s 39 percent.

More startling for the 30-year incumbent senator: Just 19 percent of those polled have a very favorable opinion of him. And nearly 40 percent hold a very unfavorable opinion.

Read it all, including a good note from a Schiff supporter.
