Sarkozy Voted Out in France

Nicolas Sarkozy, toadie to the United States government and reliable ally in keeping the empire going through debt, war, and crony capitalism, has been voted out and replaced by Socialist Francois Hollande. Sarkozy was among the most craven and opportunistic of politicians. In the end, he relied primarily on fear-mongering and anti-Muslimism to try to get re-elected and attempting to convince the electorate that his replacement might be even worse than him.

Like so many politicians, Sarkozy apparently has an insufferable personality, overcompensating for his 5ft 5in stature by insulting private citizens (“Get lost, you pathetic assholeā€¯) and strutting around at international conferences where he played the role of Angela Merkel’s poodle.

Sarkozy may have been instrumental in getting Dominique Strauss-Kahn set up for sex-assault charges to better Sarkozy’s chances for re-election. (DSK was seen as a potential electoral adversary). Sarkozy may also have been motivated to help sink DSK since DSK was seen as insufficiently worshipful of the Federal Reserve’s efforts at international inflation.

The question remains, will Hollande be any better? Possibly not. The fact that he is a member of the “Socialist Party” of course doesn’t mean he’s any more of a socialist than Sarkozy. The Socialist Party just believes in truth in labeling, unlike the socialist parties known as the “Republican Party” or the “Democratic Party,” for example.
