Democratic Party efforts to create Rush Limbaugh as the bobble-head image of the Republican Party is nothing but a diversion designed – they “hope” – to distract popular attention from another Republican, whose philosophy and policies would soon destabilize the political racket enjoyed by both parties. Increasing numbers of people are becoming aware that Ron Paul’s message is not about the man – as distracted as most Americans are by the cult of personality in all of politics – but about the reality that both parties, the media, and academia work so feverishly to sweep under a collective rug. As we saw in the so-called “debates” last year, the political establishment must still keep Ron away from public view, lest his words unsettle the minds of Boobus Americanus.
The Democrats’ efforts will continue, of course, and should any mention be inadvertently made of Ron, the media will be the first to warn their rapidly diminishing audiences to “pay no attention to that man behind the screen.”
Rush Limbaugh as the new symbol of the Republican Party? What about Al Sharpton as his counterpart in the Democratic Party?
