Rothbard on Voting

Murray thought that there was nothing wrong with voting, if you had libertarian motives. But, of course, he never voted himself. The individual’s vote doesn’t count unless the election is decided by one vote, and you are far more likely to be killed on the way to the polls than to have that happen.

I voted for Barry Goldwater, I am sorry to say. Would it have made any difference if he had gotten 27,175,74 votes instead of 27,175,75? I, on the other hand, would have been spared registering with the government, waiting in a government line, and receiving the sacrament of the state religion.
