Ron Paul TV Ads

If more TV ads are in our future, I sure hope the campaign will make clear that this candidate is absolutely unique, indeed one of the great figures in American history. Cite the awards he’s won. Cite the quotations — William Simon calling him the one exception to the gang of 535 on Capitol Hill, Napolitano calling him the Thomas Jefferson of our day, etc. In the background, huge, cheering crowds full of smiling (and genuinely diverse) faces.

It is essential that he not be portrayed as another politician with, for instance, a great health care policy. Been there, done that, Americans will say.

In fact, just scrolling on the screen all the points on his campaign site, such as his never having voted to raise taxes, his vote against the Patriot Act and the war, etc., would be a great advance.

One unrelated thing: not only are we having people over to our house tomorrow night for the Tea Party, but we’re hooking up my laptop to our big screen TV so we can all see the money totals. Fun!
