John McCain was here in Pensacola, FL, on Tuesday. He spoke to a crowd packed with–you guessed it–“veterans and war heroes.” Since Pensacola is a big Navy town (it almost seems that everyone is either in the service or a veteran) I suspect that the mad bomber will win Northwest Florida in the Tuesday primary. A columnist for the local newspaper, the Pensacola News Journal, says that “it’s either McCain or ‘None of the Above.'” Giuliani is “a mean divisive man,” Romney is “a robot,” Huckabee is “too one-dimensional,” and Ron Paul, well, he is “just not feasible.”
So, the only genuine pro-life, pro-liberty, fiscally conservative, constitutional candidate is “just not feasible”? Yet, the crazy militarist who wants to keep troops in Iraq for 100 more years is feasible? Shame on the Pensacola News Journal.
