I have no idea why I’m so fascinated to observe how GOP functionaries deal with the Ron Paul phenomenon, but I am. Dr. Paul has been invited to speak before the Orange County Republican Executive Committee (OCREC) in Orlando, Florida, tomorrow as a “peace offering” aimed at conciliating his supporters.

More fun, though, will be the Florida Liberty Summit this weekend, also in Orlando, which opens with free talks by Ron Paul, me, and perhaps a few others on Friday night, and continues throughout the weekend with a Saturday night banquet featuring another talk by me. See you there?

UPDATE: The Florida Liberty Summit will proceed as scheduled, but Dr. Paul’s meeting with the OCREC tomorrow is being rescheduled.
