Of course, Ron—with his prescient anti-empire, anti-war, anti-CIA ideas—should be #1 on the establishment Foreign Policy Magazine’s list of the top 100 global thinkers. But the fact, despite the snarky language in their copy, that he is #19 shows just how powerful and influential this gentle intellectual has become. Even neocons are beginning to sound like him. I don’t trust them to do more than talk, but it is astounding that they are forced to sound like Ron to appeal to the people. Revolution! And here is what Ron calls his “best idea.”
