It’s official. The Republican ticket will be Romney/Ryan. Paul Ryan is the chairman of the House Budget Committee. See my analysis of his bloated budgets here, here, and here.
Ryan recently said: “I am the budget chairman. I am a Republican. I am a conservative. I have been pointing out the big flaws of all of the taxing and the spending that has been going on around here.” I guess that is why he supported bailouts, No Child Left Behind, war, and the Patriot Act. Ryan is the perfect match to Romney since he supported the Republican version of health care reform known as the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act of 2003 or Bushcare.
