Richard Weaver Revisited

I’ve received a number of emails today from people wanting to know what they should read by Weaver. All his books are valuable, but on the topics I mentioned the ones to look for are The Southern Tradition at Bay: A History of Postbellum Thought, and The Southern Essays of Richard Weaver, an edited volume put together by Liberty Fund. This latter volume contains “Two Orators,” Weaver’s essay on the Webster-Hayne debate.
