Renaming the “Peace Prize”

With Al Gore having won the Nobel Peace Prize, I would say that its name needs to be changed to the “Police Prize.” After all, Gore has called for widespread uses of government coercion to force people to make very expensive (and wrongheaded) choices. Like the Red Guards during Mao’s “Great Leap Forward” who forced Chinese people to plant seeds at five to 10 times their density, thus causing massive crop failure and widespread starvation, Gore is calling for people to engage in actions that would be detrimental to our ability to survive on this planet.

The only way that Gore’s “vision” can be implemented is through mass coercion and murder. It cannot be done any other way. Gore’s “vision” is not one of peace; it is one of endless warfare of the state against everyone else.
