I could not have planned this. I had an article published on Tuesday at the Future of Freedom Foundation called “The Prospects for Drug Freedom” in which I discussed the upcoming ballot initiatives in six states regarding marijuana. Now Baptist Press has two articles (one and two) about how horrible it would be if these initiatives pass. Legalizing medical marijuana is “a horrible idea because this is simply a backdoor effort to legalize marijuana across the state of Arkansas,” said Jerry Cox, executive director of the Family Council Action Committee.
