The CDC’s Office on Smoking and Health (yes, such a thing exists) is using its federal political power to have indoor smoking bans (workplace, bars, restaurants) in place in all states by 2020. When asked if the prediction for having comprehensive smoking bans in place in all states by 2020 was reasonable, the American Anti-Tobacco League’s Anti-Smoking Czar Tim McAfee stated, “I’m relatively bullish we’ll at least get close to that number.”
Surely, you know who spearheaded the first public, anti-smoking campaigns — that’s right, the Nazis. Abstinence from tobacco was a national socialist duty. One of the (numerous) Nazi forms of our current CDC was the Reich Health Office. See Robert Proctor’s The Nazi War on Cancer.
