I love Ron’s answer to #10 in the interview regarding mass transit and government highways. I’ve never thought about how the push/funding for nationwide highways could have contributed to the lack of mass transit that it seems every pro-state advocate indicates we need now (funded by the federal government of course).

I’ve struggled with examples of how to defend/justify private roads to others for some time (despite listening to numerous podcasts and reading articles on your site), so it’s always helpful when you come across that idea that makes a lightbulb turn on in your mind. It’s like one more piece to the puzzle that better helps me understand how to present that position. Neat stuff!

That was definitely my favorite part of the videos, followed closely by his reading of reddit usernames. I never imagined a scenario where I would hear Dr. Paul utter the words “squirrel on fire.”
