I’m just a good ole boy from rural Pennsylvania who grew up trout fishin,’ deer huntin’, and playin’ football, but I wonder if that Hong Kong/Heritage Foundation/Abramoff connection has anything to do with the fact that, many years ago, Heritage established a big “Asian Studies Center.” That was long, long before the “conservative revolution of 1994,” and I thought it was very odd that they would allocate so many of their resources to “Asian Studies,” of all things, but next to nothing for European Studies, Latin American Studies, Middle East Studies, etc.
