Indeed, Lew, Justin is accurate and insightful in his comments. I decided to pull up Moveon.org and Daily Kos and lo and behold, both sites suddenly have become shills for bringing more bucks to the Beltway.

Moveon, for example, now is conducting a campaign against any Republicans who vote against the “stimulus.” Now, other than Ron Paul and a few others, I doubt that the Republicans in the House and certainly not the Senate are holding to any real principles. However, the “stimulus” is nothing but a set of political payoffs that will enrich the Beltway crowd and those people who are politically-connected. Daily Kos is trying to see whether or not socialism or “populism” is better, but nonetheless, it basically serves as a cheerleading site for Obama and the Democrats.

Of course, to these people, “reform” means socialism. But we already knew that.
